I give up. For weeks, I worked on this google logo, without ever having a topic. Probably a poor choice. My design had no direction, and as a result, lacked anything significant.

And so I present to you, my topic-less google design.

Indulge

A few months ago, I was comissioned to design a logo for an up-and-coming bakery by the name of Indulge. After many different meetings with the client, and more than a few re-do's, I came up with this. It's a take on the whole chef's hat thing. I'm pretty satisfied with the design as a result.

Question: Am I trying to copy Cory because I envy him? Hardly (and by "hardly", I mean "definitely"). That being said, I designed a poster for an event I was helping put on at my church. When I first did it, I thought that it looked awesome. Now I feel like it really sucks. Things like this discourage me from wanting to go into design.
